Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. Although the rooms were not very cozy, with visible fluff and dust under the two beds pushed together, they were at least clean and comfortable. The noisy doors slamming from early morning were quite bothersome. On the bright side, the service I received was very helpful and courteous, especially from the polite cleaners. The location was very central, making it convenient to explore the area.
I stayed in the loft room which had some drawbacks like having to use the lift to the 3rd floor then walk up 3 sets of stairs. The room had a strange smell and a wet patch on the carpet. Additionally, the bells from the nearby church rang every 15 minutes starting at 8 am, which was quite disruptive. On the bright side, it was near the back street and the location was convenient for exploring Amsterdam.
I must say that my stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was excellent, being right in the heart of Amsterdam near various attractions, but the room I received was not the best due to being underground and having a persistent smell of weed. The service was top-notch, with lovely and helpful reception staff, though it seemed like not all staff members understood the essence of customer service. The dining experience had its highs and lows as well, with the staff happy to assist but the options being somewhat limited.
The hotel is in a great central location, close to major attractions and public transportation. The rooms are spacious but cleanliness could be improved. The service was friendly overall, but some staff members were unhelpful. Dining options were mediocre. Overall, a convenient stay with room for improvement.
The hotel had a strong scent of cigarettes in the rooms and overlooked pigeons and poop, which was unpleasant. However, the service was friendly and accommodating. The location was noisy, but convenient for the city center. Dining options were limited for vegan/vegetarian guests, and the price for advance booking was reasonable.
The hotel was very cheap for its location, but I had to climb 30 stairs up and down to reach my room, which was far from the elevator and had a funky smell. The view outside the window was of other windows, and the creaky stairs were a bit bothersome.
Waking up almost every hour due to the nearby church bell with no lift access was a bit inconvenient. Despite the tiny bath, the room was decently comfortable. The hotel service was kind and professional, though the unexpected room entry in the morning without knocking was not ideal. The location was fantastic, right in the center near the main train station, but the noise from nearby bars could be bothersome at night. The dining experience was a mix of good value and disappointment with the same selections daily. The hotel facilities were average.
The hotel is located in a very central area in Amsterdam, perfect for exploring the city. The rooms are clean and nice, providing basic but comfortable accommodation. The hotel's dining exceeded expectations with a variety of options. Overall, a good value for money choice with minor service issues.
The hotel's room was a letdown as it was small, dirty, and uncomfortable, with no fridge as expected. Accessing the room through dark, uneven hallways was not what I anticipated. On the bright side, the location was superb, with friendly staff and a great coffeeshop nearby, although it could get noisy due to the bustling street outside.
The hotel had some positives like a good location in the heart of Amsterdam, but unfortunately, the room condition was below expectations with cleanliness issues. The service was mixed with some friendly and helpful staff, while others lacked friendliness. The dining experience was not satisfactory, and the facilities were average.
The hotel was really convenient for us, but had some downsides like a smelly room, noisy bells ringing from the church, and street noise. However, the location was perfect for our needs.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the bright side, the location is amazing, making it easy to get around, especially because it's close to the central station. The room, though, was a bit of a letdown compared to others I've stayed at. The carpet was wet and dirty, and the decor felt dated and in need of a refresh.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, right in the middle of everything and with comfortable beds, making it easy to explore all the main attractions. The rooms, however, were a bit of a letdown as I was in a small, smelly room with a wet patch on the carpet and constant noise from the church bells. The service, on the other hand, was a mix of awful and amazing, with unhelpful staff overshadowed by professional and helpful individuals. The dining experience was good value for money with added breakfast, but there were some issues with false advertising and broken facilities around the hotel.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though clean and nicely decorated like the pictures, felt very tight to walk around, and the noise from the busy road made it hard to get a good night's sleep. On the bright side, the service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, right in the center close to everything, but the trek from the room could be tiring. The dining experience was fine, especially with the breakfast exceeding expectations. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was great, very central between Central Station and Dam plaza. The service was lacking friendliness and helpfulness, but they did have tours and ticket assistance available. The room was small and cramped, had dead bugs and dust on the windowsill, and stains on the bedsheets, which forced me to change to another hotel and pay more. The dining options were not exceptional, and they required pre-payment for some items, which was a bit inconvenient. However, the hotel is close to various attractions and restaurants, making it convenient for exploring the city.
